Children learning

Having your child talk about what they are learning is a big focus for us. Children who have the confidence to talk and articulate their learning are a big focus for us at the moment. Simple questions about what they are doing and what the next step is making your child have to think at a higher level. At home ask your child what they have been doing for the day, what did they learn.

New faces start the year

As our school grows we welcome new faces into our mix. As a community we welcome new faces and make them feel part of us and part our School community. Thank you to Father Ravan for a lovely blessing of our new teachers and students.

Student Led conferences

Student Led conferences at ST MMK are a special time for us as we see meeting with our parents a high priority in how we work. Between pods we all have a slightly different set up about how we set them up and do them. The main essence being on our children talking and articulating their learning. A strong relationship built with home begins a lot earlier in the year where we begin our time together. Pastoral issues are dealt with separately and do not play a part in our SLC.
