As we head into Samoan Language week it is important to realise the "why" we celebrate this. Our school chooses to celebrate and recognise our children's cultures. Having a child feel that their culture is valued in the classroom is important to us. Having a child feel a connection between home and the classroom makes them feel as though they have a connection in both places.
